Refund and Other Misc Policies

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEU’s) are the responsibility of participant.

Unless otherwise noted, payment is accepted by credit card or E-Check online when registering or cash (for walk ins at the beginning of each class.)

 

Please arrive 15 minutes before class.

Rescheduling Policy
We are happy to reschedule students to a more convenient date upon your request, however, there is a $20 fee for rescheduling if your request is made within 72 hours of the class you are originally scheduled for.  The fee will also apply to students who do not attend their class without calling to notify Heart Life CPR they will not be attending the class they are scheduled for.

 

Refund Policy
In an effort to provide Certificates and Materials to students on the day of their training, all sales are final. We do offer Training Protection Insurance. Any textbooks that have been purchased and opened, breaking the plastic wrap barrier, will become nonrefundable.  Any unopened books can be returned if intact, but there will be a 20% restocking fee, if not included with your registration.

 

Refund Exceptions
Due to the nature of this industry, we do not issue refunds.  We will review exceptions and extenuating circumstances on request.  A request will be addressed and processed within 7 business days.

 

Cancellations
CPR Training Professionals reserves the right to cancel a class due to severe weather or low enrollment (We have a three student minimum to run a class). You will be notified.  Refunds are not issued due to weather cancellations, the class will be rescheduled or the student may transfer to a different class at their convenience. We will do everything possible to get you into the next available class.

 

Returned E-Checks
If your check is returned to us for insufficient funds, you will incur an additional fee of $35.00 before your certificate will be issued. If your check is returned and we issued your certificate in good faith, you will need to send an additional fee along with the original amount immediately. If we are not compensated within 2 weeks then we reserve the right to notify the American Red Cross or other training organizations that the certificate was obtained fraudulently. We also reserve the right to notify your employer or school.

 

Replacement Certificate
If you lose your certificate a duplicate certificates will be issued. You must call 860-222-7002 with the date of the original class, the type of class and the location of the class. Once these records are documented and verified, a duplicate will be issued.

The replacement fee for any certificate issued is $25. If the certificate was not received due to Heart Life CPR's error in addressing, there is no fee. Heart Life CPR is not responsible for incorrect addresses provided by students, or certificates not received that were sent to a correct address. A replacement fee applies to any certificate not received but was sent to the correct address.

We will not issue a duplicate certificate after 18 months, we would be pleased to enroll you in another class.

 

ADA
Our facility (Foundry 66) is handicap accessible. However sometimes we do hold classes in our second floor classrooms. We make every effort to provide a comfortable and supportive learning environment. If you are uncomfortable for any reason, please speak with the Lead Instructor.
